Consultative Services

Henderson Brothers has successfully consulted with companies in various industries to reduce costs associated with non-compliance with various regulatory agencies (i.e.: OSHA), Human Resource issues (i.e.: HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA etc.), and risk management issues like Workers’ Compensation. Most importantly, all of these consultative services can be done at no additional cost to your company. 


Claims Analysis Report & Trending (CART)

This is a program designed by Henderson Brothers that helps identify trends found in your company’s claim history. We analyze claims by division, department, the type of injury, body parts affected, the common cause of injury, and the year, month, and even day a claim is most likely to occur. Unlike what carriers may provide, Henderson Brothers takes it a step further. As an independent agent, we evaluate data from multiple carriers with multiple claim years. This allows you to drill down and see where common problem areas arise, which we will then use to develop a plan to lower claims and their subsequent costs, thereby decreasing your insurance costs.

Experience Modification Analysis

Henderson Brothers developed a program to specifically analyze the factors driving your experience modifier. This program allows us to identify the effect of each workers’ compensation claim on your experience modifier (mod) and ultimately your bottom line.

Through this program we have the ability to project your experience modifier four to six months in advance, enabling you to project insurance costs and be prepared for what is to come. In addition, we verify that the PCRB (Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau) and/or the NCCI (National Council on Compensation Insurance) did not make a mistake in calculating your experience mod. If a mistake is found, we petition the carrier and the PCRB or NCCI for premium to be returned to you.

Compliance Check

This service is designed to assist our clients in staying abreast of federal and state regulatory changes and updates, as well as to provide a review of current compliance with those regulations and to provide suggestions on how to improve your policies and procedures. Each of the areas listed below has a specific Review Questionnaire that was drafted by a group of legal professionals providing their opinions about the areas in which many employers err and how to improve them.

In addition to the review questionnaires, we also provide a “Compliance Hotline” where you can call a member of our Consultative Services Team to discuss Employment Practice questions, and review the compliance and regulatory issues that need to be considered.
