Henderson Brothers Risk Management Department works with you to develop a loss control program or help refine your existing program. Establishing an effective loss control program should not be a “cookie cutter” approach. Henderson Brothers uses a problem solving approach that involves working with you on identifying loss sources and developing controls to minimize exposures within your business.
The Henderson Brothers Loss Control Approach includes a thorough evaluation of your company's current procedures and accident analysis to determine loss trends and identify needs for corrective action. Most loss control methods focus on the physical hazards in your operation without dealing with "unsafe acts" of employees. Our Loss Control experts will work alongside you to develop a plan to minimize your risk, and hopefully avoid claims. Our “In House” Loss Control Services include:
- Safety Committee Certification
- Provide training for state-certified safety committees.
- Assist safety committees in becoming certified or re-certified.
- Audit safety committee documentation to identify deficiencies that could cause loss of certification.

- Develop a safety manual that addresses the controls needed for hazards indentified within the operations.

- Evaluate your existing programs for compliance with OSHA, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and other regulatory standards.
