Companies who employ California employees have one more disclosure they must provide. Add this new Act to the very long list of legislation that already exists…California’s Wage Theft Prevention Act of 2011 went into effect on January 1, 2012. One of the Act’s new statutes requires employers to give new employees a specific notice about their wages and other employment-related information. This new wage notice must also be provided to current employees in certain circumstances.
